Inquiry reveal Ngā Atua me ngā kete matauranga.

Inquiry Reveal and learning

I hanga mātou i ā mātou kete matauranga. He pikitia o ō mātou whanau te whakanikonikotanga o ēnei kete.

We learnt waiata and karakia relating to the three baskets of knowledge where we placed our learning goals. We also put strategies which will help my buddies to support me if i ever need  a positive influence with my learning or well being.

Aroha ki ngā tangata katoa

Ngā pukapuka nui- Ngā Atua

I whakarite, i whakatakoto, i whakamārama, i whakatika, i tuku atu/tuku mai, i whakaputa.
I tipakohia e ngā tamariki ngā momo pātai pakirehua.

We worked in small groups to inquire about different Atua Māori. We read many versions of Atua Māori but we wanted to inquire deeper into each of them. We planned, drafted, reworked (edited), proofread, shared and published our learning within our big books.

The covers and illustrations within our books were based upon Picasso's style of art. In our groups we had to create a video to record the process of our learning on the chrome books.

Biking - Eke paihikara

I koha a Avanti i ngā paihikara hou ki te kura o Ranui. He waimarie tātou!
I mau mai a Britney i tētahi paihikara i roto i te akomanga. I tuhi ngā tamariki i ētahi tuhinga whakaahua e pā ana ki ngā wahanga ā paihikara.

We used our new bikes to begin planning and drafting our descriptions in te reo Māori.
Whaea Jenny helped us to design posters with the rules of biking and being safe on bicycles.

Whakamaua te potae maro!
Always wear a helmet and shoes.

E hoa, kaua koe e waiho te potae i runga i te tepu.
Aue taukiri e!
